I looked through all the reviews and it was difficult to choose which book to buy. But I choose this and it gives me a great ideas. i am going through the book and doing my veggies and fruits in alphabetical order. Apple Broccoli Bananas Carrots...etc. i don't want my child to only be into fruits..so I switch back and forth.

I really love this book. I feel like it's turned me into a gourmet chef for my baby without spending too much time in the kitchen, or spending too much money. Some of the early recipes are basic 1 ingredient purees, but I love the recipes once you get to about 7 months. They are creative, tasty and easy! This book was a great intro to how to go about making your our baby food. I especially liked how the book was devided into months, and gave menu samples at the begining of each chapter. It doesn't get too in depth and complicated with its receipes, but does have more elaborate dishes for the creative types. The book also offers great tips on the produce and what to look for when you buy. I highly recommend it!

This book delivers a wide array of food recipes--from simple purees to much more complex dishes. After cooking one, my husband and I often wished we had made enough for ourselves. More importantly, my baby loved the recipes. The book is divided by the baby's age, which is helpful. I especially like that the book is not alarmist in nature-- it doesn't make you into a nervous mess about introducing every food to your child.

I have been very eager to start my child on solids and a road to healthy eating. This book was a great addition to my quest, and I would recommend it for any family wanting to encourage healthy eating habits and easy recipes.
