We have two Turbos for two cats. It's a territorial thing. We brought one home 12 years ago when we added a kitten to a house with an adult alpha male. When kitten proved to be a pushy prodigy, we had to get adult his own. Both are still in high use by the same cats who haven't slowed down. The cats' favorite toy...had to buy two to avoid conflict. Targets their need to scratch as well as play. Great for solitary as well as interactive play. Fun to watch.

I must have bought this thing over 10 years ago, as the original "kitten" who had it is now 15. He's not as interested in the ball anymore, but he still loves the cardboard scratching pad. When the new kitten came along, playing with the ball occupied him so he spent less time annoying the older cat.
It has lasted very well, and the only complaint I have is that sometimes it can be hard to find the replacement inserts at my local pet stores. Now I just buy them in packs of 6 or 8. ... Read More

My cat (who recently passed away in Jan 2007) had her turbo-ball toy for over 6 years and she played with it just as much as when she first got it. She never tired of making the ball go round and round. It has been extremely durable -- the only thing I have to replace is the little cat scratcher thing in the middle, which you can get at your local Kmart or Walmart or wherever.
I recently adopted a 2 yr old cat from the shelter and now she loves to play with this toy, too!
