This works really well on short-haired (can't speak for long-haired)dogs who shed. I, too, use it during bathtime to deep clean and get an extra bit of hair off my English Pointer. This is the only "brush" that works on my dog's hair because it's short and straight and lays really flat. Would highly recommend.

Again, I am impressed with Kong and their products. My 11mth old boxer now loves to be brushed out. This amazingly brushes her out so much better than others we have tried in the past.

My dane usually dosen't like to stay still during a bath but will when using ZoomGroom. She seems to enjoy it and makes giving her a bath much easier

Absolutely love it! I have a very small delicate cat and it does a terrific job. It is very gentle yet captures extreme amounts of hair.

Our dogs have always *loved* to be groomed by the "Pink Tongue" (Zoom Groom). It appears to trigger the mother-licking-puppy reponse because they remain totally motionless while being groomed. The soft points (NOT bristles) remove loose hair and increase circulation without scratching their skin. Our dogs seem to really enjoy the experience.
