We are glad to see this product. It's the only one we use on our pets.

The product works well on both fleas and ticks. Any ticks on the dogs fall off. The only problem that we can see is that the fleas and ticks are so bad again this year in our area that the product doesn't last all month. Seems like after about 2 1/2 weeks it isn't working as well. I will check with my vet to see if it can be applied more than once a month and not danger the dogs.....

I never had fleas and my two Jack Russell terriers have never had ticks with this product. I have used Frontline plus and have had fleas and ticks..too the cost of five hundred dollars to de-flea my house! Buying flea bombs and shampoo's which didn't work and finally hiring an exterminator and switching to K9 Advantix and we were finally able to get rid of the fleas. I used K9 Advantix because I was bringing my dog with me on vacation into a remote camp in tick-infested woods. I used three-quarters of the 20 lb. dose on my 13 lb. poodle.
