Grow an herb garden for your cat! Carefully selected mixture of grass varieties for natural goodness your cat will crave - just like they would eat in nature. Directions: Sprinkle one tablespoon of seeds into a small pot of soil, two tablespoons for a medium pot or three tablespoons for a large pot. Cover seeds lightly with more soil, water well, germination in about four days. Cats eat young shoots. Keep pot next to kitty's food and water. Add seeds every two weeks for a constant crop. Hint: The deeper the pot, the stronger the crop.

The cat grass I bought is excellent. I was no longer able to buy it from the local pet store. However, I wanted to get more of it but only 4 were available. My thought was to get as much as I could to qualify for the lowest shipping cost. Was told there were only four available. The next day or so looked it up again and there were 8 available. So I was quite displeased with not being able to order the amount I wanted at the time.

Couldn't be easier. I try to have a couple of pots going at a time. One for snacking, and the next batch growing. I grow it in regular sized pots not those dinky little plastic tubs. It lasts about a week - one of my cats is a munchaholic. Even my cranky old cat thought it was very tasty. When it dies or is chewed to bits, just take off the top soil and grass roots (scrapes right off) top it with seeds and soil. That's it! Takes less then 3 minutes.

I have grown the Cosmic Kittyherbs for our cats for years. Easy to grow. Start the seeds in a clay pot in new potting soil. Soil seeds pressed in, on top of soil. Barely cover seeds with soil. Water,place in sunny, warm spot. Keep watered and the new grass starts in a couple of days. I let the grass reach 2 inches before I give it to our cats. Great sized bag for a great price. You get an assortment of seeds that grow very fast and attracted my cat immediately. She actively seeked out the shoots! I grew the first batch in a regular plant pot and the next in a small ceramic container, both with fabulous (and apparently yummy) results. The only recommendation I have is to grow the seeds in a larger, heavy pot so the cat can pull at the shoots.
