My 12 lb poodle mix destroyed this ball in less than an hour. The concept is what I have been hoping for.
However, no company seems to be willing to make it out of better material. It just needs to be made
with a better plastic/rubber material. It does keep your dog very busy, but then it gets ripped apart too
quickly.

This is a really simple toy, you fill it with food or goodies and leave it for the dog to play with. He/She will work very hard in order to get the food out. No tricks, no moving parts and yes even the children can use it without too much supervision. I have a strangely active Jack Russell and this does keep him busy, he also likes to eat, I would recommend that you pay attention to size, as a larger dog would eat the ball as well.

The snacks fall out too easily as it is just an open hole but my dog enjoys pushing it around the room.
Much prefer the cube.

We've had a couple of these for years and love them. Both of our dogs (one is 13 and one is 2) get soooo excited when they see these. We got in the habit of letting them play a couple of times a day when we got our newest dog to keep him busy while we ate meals. Works great! Our pom finally tore a hole in one after over a year (our other dogs had never torn a hole in it) so I just bought another one. My chocolate lab puppy LOVES this toy. It is amazing to watch her little brain work as she tries to get the treats out. It is perfect for an active puppy!!! Unlike the other reivewer, I have found that it is a very durable toy that is perfect for an active chewer.
