I bought this as a gift for my daughter who just learned to play guitar, but she has been playing violin for the past 19 years since she was five.
She liked it so far, but I am sure her expectation was partly based no the price paid. The guitar sounded pretty good to me who has not played any instrument.

Takamine's model designation for this is 'S35'. In my estimation, the 'S' must stand for 'solid', 'smooth', 'superb', 'special' or just plain 'sweet'.
This guitar seems to be perfect for a beginner or amateur/recreational player.

I bought this guitar from Austin Bazaar as a Christmas gift for my 13yr old daughter who is keen to learn to play. It was excellently packaged and is a beautiful instrument.
