I got this when I could take being woken up at 2 in the morning because my cat kept jumping up on the kitchen counter and knocking things over. i have a cat we adopted who pees in the corner by the back door. He ruined the hardwood there. I tried everything, boundary spray, putting a fan there, rubbing his face in it and spraying him with water...I was ready to bring him back to the shelter and this stuff saved him. These Ssscat sprayers work great. We had a cat that would get on our counters and insist on eating anything there. Bread would get eaten, plastic bag and all! We tried spraying manually with spray bottles, but believe me, the cat knows when you leave that it's now safe to go up there again. Lining the counters with soda cans worked for a couple of days, but was really tacky looking and then the cat didn't care about the noise and would go up there anyway.

I was very pleased with the time it took from when ordered until it arrived.
I found this product to be very effective in the beginning. I wish I had known that the can would run out as quick as it did. I would have ordered extras. Either my cat is very smart or a little slow. After the can ran out all I had to do was show it to him and he was well behaved. Then he must have fiqured it out....ummmmm no noise now so guess I can once again take my perch on the counter...now the can doesn't even scare ... Read More

What a great product to teach kitty what things to avoid. The only downside is that the motion sensor reaches out about 5 feet, so anyone else in the room may trigger it as well. The instructions state to set this out when humans won't be around to trigger it. I also limited the motion sensor's range by covering part of it with tape. I think that this will only take a few times to teach kitty what areas to avoid.
