This is a good choice for clipping the nails of large dogs. Does the job quickly and better than other style of nail clippers and with less pressure on the nails. As nail clippers go... I have cut a lot of dog nails in my day, and I will not cut with anything but these. Any other kind of clippers is a total waste of time.
Big dog, little dog, doesn't matter.
The guillotine style clippers just smash the nail and never stay sharp. They end up leaving jagged ends on the nail and make for anything but a pleasant experience.
These will probably be the only clippers you will ever have to buy. Mine are going on 10 years now with no problems at all.

If you have big toe nails this one will last a lot longer before needing sharpening.
