Zorb is specially formulated for cleaning high-traffic areas and is even safe for wool or stain-resistant carpets. The powder gets sprinkled on and groomed into the carpet where it rests for 30 minutes, absorbing dirt within millions of tiny sponges. This is good stuff. My carpet looked and smelled great after using Zorb...the effects did not last as long as I would like, though. If you started using this product and a Dyson vacuum on brand new carpet, I think it would be better.

i am not impressed with this product at all. although i love my dyson vac, this carpet maintenance powder must only work on new hardly soiled carpet as my old carpet is just as dirty as before

I love this stuff. Works great on my carpet. Freshens & cleans. Haven't had a bad experience with ANY Dyson product. This works great with my DC17 Animal.

This stuff is great. I vacuumed my carpet first (filling my canister with dust and cat hair) until no more dirt or hair filled the vacuum canister. Then I sprinkled this moist 'saw-dust' Zorb all over the carpet, then I used a Dyson accessory to comb it into the carpet. Then I wait for it to dry (about 30 min) and then vacuum it all up.
