Had I bought them for any other reason than to reach the $25 supersaver shipping requirement, I'd be pissed. As it is, oh well. My dog destroys tennis balls in minutes -- rips them along the seams. These were no different. In the time that it took me to go in the house to get the sunblock, the ball was torn. As for the smell, there was nothing whatsoever reminiscient of peanut butter. My two dachshunds and one shihtzu really like these flavored tennis-type balls. They like all tennis balls, but these are really sturdy and the flavor adds to the fun.
