The picture leads you to believe that you get a gate that covers the area shown. However, it only comes with 'three' gates and you will have to buy extensions if you want it to cover a big area like the one shown in the picture. Check your measurements before buying. I had to buy 3 more extensions, but they are worth it. I just wish I would have checked the measurements. This gate is working great in our house. We have ordered additional wall attachments directly from kidco so that we can attach it different ways. I really wanted a wood gate, but there just are not any out there that seemed sturdy enough. This is sturdy and simple to use.
