My Border Collie mix has chewed up two red Kongs, so it's difficult for me to find her a toy that she likes but can't destroy. This fits the bill perfectly on both counts. It's durable and she's always carrying it around with her -- I've taken to calling her Peyton Manning!
The only thing to be careful with is that it's very heavy -- a smaller dog might have trouble carrying it around (she's about 50 lbs.).

I have a 18 month old yellow lab that LOVES to chew! We have searched endlessly for toys that will last longer than a day and other than the kong toys this football holds up the best! It keeps him busy/entertained for long periods of time, especially when we put peanut butter in it. We've tried the purple color as well as the black and both hold up well, the black is the most durable though. If you have a dog that loves to chew this is the perfect toy for them!!

I've had this toy for a few weeks now, and my bullmastiff is still loving it. It's quite heavy and solid and I snuggle little treats in it to keep him occupied while I'm at work. I think the mfgr was expecting an entire doggie bone to go into the football, but there's no chance of that--the rubber is too hard. It stands up well to solid chewing.
