I have been using this brush twice a day since I got it to groom my Bichon. It has soft tips and it does a great job of getting through all his hair. It is easy on the face and ears and around the mouth. He even like his tummy stroked and brushed with it. I will probably wear this one out, but it is holding up very nicely for as much as we use it. The web product description was not clear if this product was specifically for cats, but for pets in general. However the product (once received) clearly stated that it is for cats.

This is the best brush EVER for my tiny little Yorkie dog with very sensitive skin...She loves it and believe me I have tried many many brushes and combs.

I have a white cat that sheds A LOT and this brush didn't pick up a lot of hair like her metal comb does. If it's for a cat that doesn't shed a lot, go for it.
