Legal Disclaimer: Beware of thin cheaper aftermarket cables. Generally cables under $14.00 can NOT be made up to current standards due to the current cost of copper increases! These "knock-off" cables will NOT provide full signal strenght from your PC/Projector and rarely support a clear 1080p picture. We suggest purchasing from a seller that distinguishes this difference in their notes field.

Features:- Brand new high quality gold plated cable. Cable length: 3 meters (10 feet).Connectors: HDMI Male to DVI Male
- High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) uses a much smaller, user-friendly connector than the DVI connector. Compatible with: standard, enhanced, or high-definition video, plus multi-channel digital audio on a single cable.
- It transmits all ATSC HDTV standards and supports 8-channel digital audio, with bandwidth to spare to accommodate future enhancements and requirements. HDMI is fully backward-compatible with DVI hot plug for DTVs.
- HDMI DTVs will display video received from existing DVI-equipped products, and DVI-equipped TVs will display video from HDMI sources. These cables have matched impedance, PVC jacket, molded ends and inner hood soldered 360 degrees to the connector for complete end to end shielding.
- Eliminates unnecessary signal conversions. 24 bit/pixel, 165 MHz max clock frequency. 5 Gbps bandwidth, 55% spared for future expansion

Without this cable all of my regular DVD's played at 480i. I did not know what I was missing until I used this cable and suddenly all my regular DVD's were upconverted to 1080i. Its not quite as good as either of the HD formats, but its close enough to make you wonder if paying 2X or 3X as much for an HD disc is worth the price. And using component connections is not even close to the quality you get with the HDMi cable.

I just bought a projector which doesn't have DVI input, so I bought this cable to get a digital video signal from my laptop (from DVI on laptop to HDMI on projector). I'm glad I chose this - it seems to be working well, no problems.

Great price and fast delivery. The only gripe I have is with the technology itself not the product. This was for an older Sony rear projection screen and sometimes the HDCP "handshakes" don't always coordinate well. Overall, does the job, good quality cable, please don't be fooled by Monster or anything ridiculously expensive.

Good quality DVI-HDMI cable that would cost 20+ bucks more in the store. Used to to connect my [Charter] Motorola Moxi DVR to my Sony LCD TV. No difference in picture quality but I went from 5 cables (component) to 3 cables (HDMI and LR audio) which was my intent. Also at 3 meters in length it will be long enough to fish through the wall at a later date.
Update: I found that there was a slight green shift in the color using this cable so I went back to component cables. I was unable ... Read More
