My West Highland White Terrier had long term skin problems - itching, skin infections, loss of hair, etc. This is a common problem for the breed and why some ultimately need to be rescued. This product will not perform miracles. It is made to increase the nutritional value of your pet's food. You don't want to know what they put in your dogs food. Google it if you really want to know. My dog was diagnosed with a type of cancer that most likely will someday return and not have anymore treatment options. The only thing on the net and vets say MAY help is to up the Omega fatty acids. I've asked my dog(a Shiba) how much she likes this stuff being added to her food, but she just gives me this quizzical look. She seems to eat it ok. As for any noticible improvements, it *seems* like her coat is healthier...at least the vet commented on how nice it was. Overall, I would buy this again.
