I have three dogs that let me know a half hour before a storm hits that it's coming. They pace, pant and cower. Chloey, a parson's russell/sheltie mix is the worse. She hides under couch or bed and never seems to settle down until the storm is miles away and no rumbling of thunder can humanly be heard.
Now with the DAP, I spray it on her bandana and she comes running, nose in the air, facing up, so I can put it around her neck. She still wants to find a hiding place but she stops panting ... Read More

This product does not seem to matter to my dog. There are no obvious changes in her behavior that I can see.

A friend of ours suggested getting the DAP collar for our dog who gets so upset during thunderstorms. After reading the reviews, I opted to try the spray instead. She still gets upset, but it does seem to make a big difference. I spray it on her bed and she seems to now seek it out during storms. So, I would have to say there's something to this, though more subtle than I'd hoped!

My dog suffers from severe separation anxiety. Ive tried numerous items including the DAP, and I did NOT notice that it helped. Save your money and stick with behavioral training.

I have a nervous Bichon Frise. This spray has worked much better than the D.A.P. collars I have purchased. We have walked him to get out his nervous energy before riding in the car but it alone has never done the trick. When I added the use of this spray, we have had amazing results. I did notice that we could go about 2 and half hours before needing to apply it again and it is so worth doing it to keep my Alex from getting sick.
I will keep this product on hand for future trips.
