I don't think this is the perfect product but it is much closer than the old litter box options having to deal with constantly having to take out clumped litter. The first time we used it though it didn't work but I called the 800# and they guided me through a quick fix to get it to work better and ordered me replacment parts. Once I got the new parts its worked well. Only issue seems to be the bottom of it tends to be wet from urine and all of our cats are still not using it 2 weeks later. Again ... Read More

I LOVE the CatGenie and I will NEVER go back to scooping a litterbox. I did a TON of research before buying one due to the cost. Here's the lowdown:

it was a great idea to have a dome, privacy, less litter scatter. HOwever, the litter still scatters out onto the floor, just less on the sides. NOt a bad product, just not great.

I really like this product because once you get it set up you can almost forget about it. I like the fact that I can turn on the auto clean and it will clean itself from start to finish. The system works well as far as the mechanics of it, although it is loud. Customer Service is very good. I have called for trouble shooting and the rep is always helpful.
