I too was extremenly concerned when I noticed the tiny "Made In China" stamp at the bottom of my dog and cats FAVORITE treat. I contacted the company by email and a very helpful representative sent me (within a day) a full report on the conditions of the facility in China that does manufacture the product, as well as the rigorous post-manufacture testing that each product goes through. Email them if you are concerned. I believe that this is a safe and wonderful product!

OK, so these are made in China. I'll take off 1 star for that, and I do understand the concern especially due to the past problems with pet food that originated in China. That being said, I bought these for my girlfriend's dog and he absolutely LOVES them! Any other treats that you give him he will ignore at first (he's more concerned with getting attention and is smart enough to know that the treat will still be there later). We lost a dearly beloved animal companion due to the poisoning of pet food from China. He enjoyed that food very much and then it killed him.
I have been to China and met many lovely people and they of course are not all responsible for that tragedy. But until we have been convinced that our trust will not be violated again (pet food, toothpaste, painted toys) we will not consume anything from China and neither will our critter companions.
