We have used this Gentle Spray unit several times. The unit sprays as it states, but this spray has no affect on our pomeranian. He just keeps barking and barking and barking. The unit is emply in just a few minutes.

The collar worked good for my Jack Russell Terrier.. It stopped his loud barks but not the little barks he makes, which is understandable. He did learn that when the collar is not on, that he could bark because it wouldn't spray him. After about a month of him wearing it, the sprayer stopped working, even after filling up the spray and changing the battery. The anti-bark collar really does work. We have a coon-hound who are notorious for barking. She used to bark a great deal in the yard, especially at night. Now with the anti-bark she might let out a short bark and than it is over. She does not like the citronella at all.

I have 2 toy poodles. They each weigh 6 lbs. When I put the collar on them the walk around like I have placed a ball and chain around their neck. The collar is far to large and heavy for a small dog. Not only that but it doesn't spray when they bark!!!

My dog was somewhat of a problem barker. I got this collar and she DOES NOT like the citronella spray at all!! She was startled the first few times she barked. Now she doesn't bark except a very low barely-audible woof at the nothing-ness she used to bark at. She barely wears the collar now, had her trained almost immediately!!! I definitely recommend.
