Received this item for x-mas and was amazed how well it works. It is really simple, and had no problems uploading my photos to it. It also shows the time and date and has a calendar which is really great. Overally, very satisfied with the product.

I bought this for my Mom, a proud Grandma who loves to show off pictures of her Grandchildren. It is nice and small (which is what one would expect from a keychain), and holds many pictures.
She said that she initially had a little bit of an issue getting the photos on there, but called customer service and it ended up being a simple thing to do. Took her about 15 minutes to get it up and working, pictures loaded, etc.

I read the previous reviews on this, but thought I would still give it a shot and purchased this as a gift for my husband (because I really liked that this key chain was on a cliphanger instead of the usual keychain clips). I tried several times, unsuccessfully, to install the necessary software on my home computer and it just would not work (I am not a computer geek, but I know my way around). The software is, at best, mediocre. It was a little tricky to figure out just how to download the photos. Click around, experiment, and you'll probably get it. The quality of the images is not great, but at least you can adjust the contrast which makes it better. Overall, I'm not thrilled, but I have no intention of sending these (I bought a few) back. Good enough. And they do appear to be sturdy.

I checked the manufacturer's website for mac compatability, they indicated yes.
I confirmed operating system and model before ordering.
The manual refered to steps not possible.
The website had an updated manual refering to a nonexistant update (as of 12/12/08).
All-in-all it has never worked.
It earns one star for potential.
