This is my first Sony laptop ever!!!!!
I recently had a Hp Dv2000t 14' laptop and I thought that was a good starter laptop. The Hp had a great Intel Processor and was well priced(wait for coupons online). The large downside of the Hp was the 2 hour battery life(under normal use-internet, office software and mulitimedia).
