I normally love Thomas Kinkade calendars. I absolutely have to get one each year and immediately hang it on my wall. Not only do I get a calendar to keep my life organized, I get a beautiful piece of art. But I felt the need to write a review of the 2009 calendar this year because of the format. Many people dismiss Kinkade, putting him in the same artistic space as Hummel figurines and lifelike silicone dolls (um... I mean the cute baby ones that grandmothers collect.)
