Panasonic 2-Line Corded Cordless DECT 6.0 Black Telephone (KX-TG9391T)
Bought this phone as replacement for a Panasonic 5.8GHz system. Identical setup. 1/2 the range. Incredible.

It's a good phone now that we've resolved a couple of issues, but it was definatley a pain before we figured them out.

Needed a 2-line, 2-phone replacement for an AT&T phone which worked OK except that we no longer could understand callers' messages....and this couldn't be fixed. So far we're very pleased with the Panasonic. It's clear, fairly intuitive, with a reasonable (albeit complex) instruction manual. Incidently, the moniker Disgruntled Nestor had to do with a prior product, an LG cellphone with an inscrutable (unless you understood Korean) instruction book.

I've been waiting for a good 2-line DECT phone while getting by with the single line Panasonic DECT models. This model is pretty good and would've been sufficient for my needs except for the fact that it does not have talking caller ID. I love this feature but unfortunately Panasonic seems to have a lock on it (although an early 2.4Ghz Siemens 2-line phone also did it).

Overall the phone is excellent. However, we've encountered problems dialing out from the base station. It was very easy to set-up with the 3 additional handsets.
