This gate was just perfect for securing the 6 foot opening between our living room and kitchen. Though it was expensive, I consider it a good investment, as we will get years of use out of it and can use it even if we move. I like that we can expand it if we need to, and it was easy to assemble and install (even all by myself). If you have a strangely shaped place in your house, or an opening too big for a "normal" gate, I highly recommend this product.

I used this gate to keep my dog away from the front door. As far as gates go, they do not get any better. It looks great in my house and was easy to install. The door on the gate works like a charm. Very easy to disasemble if needed too. I allready have told many friends about these gates and I tell people that they are the best you can get reguardless of money.

I bought this gate for an unusual space in my home that no other gate would fit (our 2nd floor loft/banister that is angled and has a piece of drywall that a toddler could potentially climb on and jump over the banister.) I really wanted something sturdy and white -- KIDCO Configure gate is perfect and looks great! I used one 24' extension and was able to install this very easily (instructions are terrific -- they have both written and visual instructions). Gate is very sturdy and can adjust in 10 degree increments, so it doesn't take up much room and is not an eyesore. I am pregnant and have a toddler running around and I was still able to install it with ease. I have included pictures of the gate in use. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! BEST GATE!

...of this gate. We were a little skeptical about it at first, as with anything we buy online, but it has been awesome. It's a very sturdy gate with easy mechanics. Very simple. We bought for the top of our extra-wide stairway 5 minutes after our 7-month-old took his first tumble. We are so much more relaxed now because we know the gate will keep him safe. It's more attractive than we had anticipated. As for the quality...it's very sturdy and easy to install if you have studs in the right places and a power drill. My guess is that those who rated it poorly either installed it wrong or didn't attach it to studs. Great product. Worth every penny.

I got this gate 5 years ago to block our entertainment system from an over zealous toddler - fascinated with the power buttons on the equipment. I've used it for a multitude of purposes since then - from the entertainment system to christmas trees to pet containment. My original set and the extenstions I've purchased are still in top notch shape after being reconfigured MANY times throughout the years.
