I love these gates and when the one I had got chewed up by the dog, I was panic stricken that I wouldn't find another. This is the only one I have found that fits in my opening between the kitchen and dining room. I love the plastic thing on top that protects kids and pets from the tops of the gate. I actually bought TWO so I could have a spare in case of another chewing incident!

Our puppy has grown to a tail-wagging 80 pound loving bear. We needed to be able to "corral" him from visiting small grandchildren. We were able to move this gate from doorway to doorway. It worked extremely well. Being able to slide it open or step over or simply pick it up and move it were all advantages to our needs.

This swing gate is exactly what I was looking for. I use it to keep my dogs (three, ranging from 25 to 60 pounds) at bay, and it does the job. It installed very easily and I like how it collapses and swings up against the wall when we dont need it.

I actually bought this to use in my kitchen doorway for a new puppy we have. The doorway is larger than a standard door so I needed something with a wide reach. It also is a high traffic area so I needed somthing easy to use. I know other people have complained about lining up the hooks but my family and I have not found that to be hard. I love this gate so much I am thinking of buying 2 more for other doorways I need them on.

When I bought this gate, I was actually looking for something to keep my large, very strong puppy out of certain areas of the house.
I went with this one because I didn't want to spend a lot of money and I thought the lattice design was better looking than most expandable gates. The wood is quite a bit sturdier than I expected, and it's extremely easy to adjust it to fit any doorway. The downsides are that latch is a bit small, so it's awkward the first few times you use it, and you have to install bolts into your walls to mount the gate. I don't mind the bolts TOO much, though, because I know for sure that since it's attached right to the wall the gate won't pop out of place if the dog jumps against it.
All-in-all, if you're looking for a pet gate that looks decent, is fairly strong, and won't break the bank, this gate is perfect.
