We got this fan to circulate air during summer.
It does the work very well, but it's very loud. Even on it's lowest setting is so loud that we can't sleep when it's on.
The fan is very durable - we have it more than a year and it's still working great, like new.
It's light - you can move it easily.
The fan is small - it's not difficult to find a spot for it.
If you are OK with the noise - this is a great little fan for you; but if noise is bothering you - then you should continue browsing and get some other fan.

Great little fan...I have used it to circulate air in summer and winter...I have dropped this fan several times...it keeps working great.

#1, it works. This fan moves a lot of air. I have no idea how many CFM. I couldn't find the info online either.
#2, It's loud. On setting 1, it's audible. On setting 3, at 4 feet, you'll be speaking over it's noise.
#3, It lasts a long time. The motor is heavy duty. I've had my fan for 9 years and keep it as a shop fan.
The best uses for this are for clearing out air (eg, exhaust fan), forced air movement (blowing down a hall, or moving floor air to the ceiling), or for drying things (drywall, though paint might pick up dust with direct blow).
I've even used this to blow over an electric stove to heat a giant room for a day before gas service was turned on. We evaporated 8 ounces per hour out of a 250sqft of wall texture this way.

We wanted a noisy fan for background noise in our daughter's room to block out house creaks early in the morning, and the reviews said this was noisy-- and it is, perfectly for our purpose. It is very powerful and really gets the air moving.
