It is as advertised, with the extensions it worked for us pretty good, it is baby proof. It is tall and when properly installed it is very secured. This is our second gate as the first one did not work, so far it is great!!
It was delivered efficiently even though it was Christmas it came after 3 days, thank you!!

Easy to install and it works well.
Even my 3 year old, that climbs on EVERYTHING, can't scale this gate.
Do NOT place this at the top opening of the stairs!

I own 3 of these gates. They are easy to open with one hand and made of metal so they hold up over time and use. Gate swings both ways which makes it the easiest walk through gate I have ever encountered.

I had to get the extra tall because my toddler is a climber. This is the first gate that has been able to hold him in ever! It's sturdy and easy to operate even with one hand. I would definitely recommend this gate to anyone who has very active children.
