the playyard was purchased for our puppy and he loves it. we take it outside and he can run. We do not have a fencein yard so this works great.

This gate is great if you want to set it up and pretty much leave it in one spot.
Opening it and folding it into space can be tough. The top and bottom hinges don't always work in synch and the fence bends and torques all crazy. The mechanism that locks the hinges in place is really tight and it can take some doing.
Once you get it into position it works great. We have it to seperate the house into an area for the dog and an area for the baby. Neither one can get through or over it.
It is also very stable, my one year old son grabs and shakes it and it has never come down.
So, it's perfect if you want to set it up and leave it, but if you plan on moving it around a lot it may get on your nerves.

We got this to keep our entertainment center and bookshelves in the family room out of reach to our 10 month old! It has worked perfectly!! You just connect the panels in a /\/\/\/\/\ pattern and then they stay upright and the baby can pull up on it without it falling over. The color isn't too bad and the height is perfect--ends just below the bottom of the tv!!! Works great to keep the electronics out of reach!

I bought this for my daughter who has a 1 yr old and 18 mo old AND is expecting another. She is very happy with the superyard as it keeps the kids contained so she can do things nearby. The kids actually seem to enjoy their special play area too. We also got the extension which makes it a very nice area for the children.

I have a 10 month old and I babysit a 12 month old and they both LOVE it!!! I filled it with a bunch of their toys, so they are not scattered about the house, and let them have at it! This was a cost effective way to "baby proof" the house without breaking the bank! We are in the process of moving, so we needed something temporary and useable...but this works so well we are going to use it in our new place too! I bought one of the extension bars/bracket because the 6 sides that it comes with just seemed a bit too small in my opinion...if I'm putting my kid in a jail then they need the room to crawl about! With the 8 sides they both have plenty of room!
