The double-layer mitt means no danger of touching things you don't want to touch :-) even if you're picking up on rough ground, twigs, etc. Well-designed and does the job. These are supposed to be biodegradable, and I can confirm that I left some in a daypack for a year (and they may have had a few drops of water on them) and they were certainly starting to crumble when I found them later. So I think they really are biodegradable. Easy to carry in your pocket (no silly cardboard scoops, bags aren't perfumed, etc.) Best product I've found.

it is very easy to use, and the double layering on the bottom makes it extra easy for those who are apprehensive of picking up dog poop. biodegradable too.

Do you own a dog? Then this is the right poop bag for you, simple as that. Biodegradable, strong construction, and opaque. When it comes to being a responsible pet owner these bags make a dirty chore into well a slightly less risky and trying proposition. If you've ever had a supermarket bag rupture and leave you 3 knuckles deep in fido's used kibble you'll quickly come to appreciate a purpose built bag.
