It's hit and miss with cat toys. Sometimes my 9-month old kitten loves them, sometimes he doesn't. I'm giving this toy a good rating because it seems fairly well made and fairly priced. But my feline has absolutely no interest in it, even when it's got the tea-bag filled with cat nip inside it.

My ragdoll kitten absolutely adores this toy; she loves to throw it up in the air and try and catch it, and then 'kill' it. Even my senior cat (who never plays) batted this around a few times.

I have an 8-month old kitten who loves to play. He adores his "Da Bird" and his crinkle balls but doesn't do much with this squirrel. However, I want to give it a decent rating because it seems to be relatively well-made, is fairly priced for what it is... just because my cat prefers other toys doesn't mean this should receive a decent score.

I just got this little cutie toy, and I'm sort of bummed that my cats are not playing with it at all. My cats tend to like playing with all sorts of things, like little stuffed mice, or strings, balls, etc. I figured they'd enjoy something that looked like an animal. They don't. And they're not interested in the catnip either.

When it's freshly filled with catnip, our cats love it -- they toss it all over the place. However, when the catnip has been inside the squirrel for more than 20 minutes, they couldn't even be bothered by the squirrel. So, it's definately the catnip they like and not the squirrel by itself.
