This product was recommended by my veterinarian. I've been using it for about 2 months and it seems to work great. Was able to wean my 10 year old collie off oral anxiety medication. Definitely recommend giving it a try. No odor at all that we can smell as humans.

I got this product in hopes that it would help my yorkie-poo puppy for her separation anxiety. Becuase she was not fully potty trained at the time I got this product, I would gate her in our dinning-room/kitchen which is all tile; while I would get ready in the morning or do house work. When I gated her in the kitchen she would cry and cry and cry. So I hoped that this would calm her down. But unhappily it did not work for her. I still have it plugged-in in that room. But now that she is a little bit older and she is about 90% potty trained, so there is no need to gate her while I do house work. But I do leave her in her kennel while at work, and the plug-in is by her kennel. When I leave she doesn't cry, so may-be it works, I don't know. Because she could just be used to her kennel, or it works for that purpose. Either way I don't think that I will be ordering a refill. It was worth a try, and the plug in was definitely cheaper than going to Pet-Smart or Petco. Hopefully this product will help your dog, because I know how heart breaking it is when they have anxiety issues. Good Luck!!

DAP Dog Appeasing Pheromone Electric Diffuser (48 mL) Not working really well on my very anxious puppy. I'll give it more time since instructions say it varies as to how long it takes for them to feel the effect of the product.

We have a 5 month old Boston Terrier. She amused herself by jumping and barking at the fumes for the first few days and we have seen no change in her behavior thus far. Perhaps it works when we are out of the house and she's alone, but we have no way of knowing. Can't really say yay or nay, but it was worth a try.

This is really amazing, we have an silky terrier with terrible seperation anxiety to say this product worked 100% would not be true but it did work, along with this we use a Kong toy that we fill with treats and peanut butter to keep him occupied, his bathroom antics all over the place are much better using the DAP, the first time we used it he didnt go to the bathroom in the house at all.Other times alone were small bathroom problems.
I do think it works and would recommend it. It also lasts a long time We unplug it as soon as we get home.
