I bought this as my doggie starts shaking and pacing when there is a high wind......I guess she calmed down a little more - but not fully.
I think Bach's rescue rememdy plus the use of this did the trick.
I'm going to see over time if it works fully.

My wife and I adopted a 1yr.old German Shorthaired Pointer from the Oregon Humane Society in August. Those of you familiar w/ the breed know they are very high energy. This particular guy came w/ no history. So, we knew we had our work cut out for us. We quickly learned that he had an extreme case of seperation anxiety. If left alone for any amount of time in any place he would become so panic striken that he lost all control of his bodily functions. The behaviorist at OHS quickly recommended this product to us along w/ the name of a vet that could prescribe medicication for the short term. Of course, we were skeptical of the D.A.P. because of the usage instructions. At first, it seemed like it was just another hook to get $30 (pet store price) a month out of our wallets. The vet medication came and went with little success in behavior modification. It just seemed to make him very tired all the time. After the first month of D.A.P. use however we were pleasantly suprised to find that when crated in the room with the DAP diffuser he could be left w/o incident for small periods of time. After about the 3rd month, his anxiety issues were reduced to a little whining here and there. Thinking the problem was solved, we discontinued use, attributing the progess to him feeling comfortable in the home w/ us. BIG MISTAKE. After approximately 3 weeks his behavior showed signs of being erractic again, and after a month we were back to anxious tension. So, needless to say we are back to using D.A.P. and he's doing very well. The bottom line is that this product may not be a quick fix, but I can assure you, from my own experience, that it DOES provide considerable relief for pet separation anxiety when given sufficient time.

Excellent Seller! Extremely fast shipment and excellent price. Will leave additional information about product after my dogs have been exposed to it for a few days. Recommended by my Veterinarian.

my dog has mild separation anxiety so i was hoping this would help make his time alone easier. have been using it a couple of weeks and saw no change whatsoever. he is actually afraid of the diffuser. he has walked by it a couple of times and got a whiff and jumped away from it. oh well.

Despite some reviews I read before I purchased this product, it was money down the drain. Maybe it might work for a small dog with a mild nervous problem but it did nothing to calm our 2 corgi's. They get very agitated when we leave and sometimes pace nervously in the house when we're home. Both have always been high-strung.
I wouldn't recommend this product. Save your money! (I have seen similar products at the vet, and our vet uses the one for cats often, and that does work. I guess I should have tried the brand the vet sells...)
