This stuff works great, about an hour after I gave it to my dog she started dropping dead fleas and some live ones that were easy to clean up because they were groggy. You need to have a something like K9 Advantage to apply after you give this to your dog because the Capstar won't prevent re-infestation and only lasts for 1 day. You also need to spray your house to gwt rid of any larvae and eggs around the place.
I only gave it 4 stars because it runs about $4 a tablet.. you only get 6 in a pack.

This company ships quickly and the prices are great. This product is wonderful and kills fleas within 30min! (not eggs though)

After attempting to fight flea infestation for the past 6 months, with constant scratching & fleas jumping all over the house, I used this product on my dogs. In a few hours, the dogs were scratching less. I was able to sit on the furniture without feeling fleas hopping on myself. Approximately 24 hrs later, I observed the dogs hardly scratching at all. The product is most effective when followed up with a topical treatment such as Frontline, so the dogs are flea free for the month.
One bonus to this product is that you can administer another tablet at another time if the flea infestation reappears.
After using countless sprays, powders and just topical treatments, I found the Capstar was most effective with fighting flea infestation.

I gave this to my German Shepherd, and it knocked the fleas right out. I use the smaller sized pills for my cats, and we have no flea problems anymore.

I used Capstar when I first got my kitten. She was covered in fleas. Within 10 minutes I was able to see fleas visibly dropping off of her little body. I work in the veterinary profession and many vets use this to kill fleas on pets being dropped off for boarding or to stay in the hospital all day.
Someone said the product didn't work and that 6 days later their pet has fleas. this is not meant to prevent your dog from getting more fleas. It is meant to kill the fleas that are present at the time. Even in the product description it tells you that you should put your pet on a preventive method like Frontline, Advantix, Advantage, etc. So if you use it once and 3 days later your dog has fleas again, it's not Capstar's fault.
