These are very sturdy and easy to use, however, they don't come with comb guides. I had to go buy those separately and they were about $35. However, compared to paying $60 to have my dog groomed every few months, it is worth the price.

I found a website where somebody showed how to trim a mini schnauzer. It looked pretty simple so I ordered these clippers (after a lot of research) and they work great. They are easy to maneuver and my dog doesn't have any problem with the low buzz sound. They are easy to clean and I love them. I would definitely recommend them.

We inherited an Akita that was house kept, so we wanted to do the same for him. The groomer charged $45.00 per visit for a trim/bath he needed monthly, and she earned every dime of the money she charged. To keep the dog I had to do something to ease the financial part of his upkeep. These trimmers were everything the ad said they would be. They stayed cool and sharp, and they were quiet the entire time. The number10 blade cut great. I'm glad I took a chance, and the Oster recommended by my vet was a perfect choice.

I have thought of buying clippers for awhile.I checked prices and reveiws.I took the plunge when I saw these and crossed my fingers .I have two mixed dos ( big hairy dogs) golden /newfoundland mix and a golden lab. They started shedding in clumps and itching .Got these clippers yesterday.Got my golden / newfoundland mix ready .I could not believe the ease with which they clipped his hair .Like a hot knfe through butter .I am talking layers of fur and matts. It really was like shearing a sheep .Thick ,dense undercoat ! He was so happy today two be rid of the excess hair.My only comment would be I wish it came with more instruction for care and cleanning of clippers. How to change blades and care for them also the sizes.I am very happy with this purchase and would buy them again .

So far, I have had these clippers for about two months. They work great on the cat's downy undercoat, which is a major source of future hairballs. They perform the job quickly, stay cool, and are fairly quiet which is very important given the limited patience's of cats. These clippers are a major and affordable upgrade from our old reciprocating clippers.
