I received the gigantic litter box from Petmate in the mail this morning by Fed-ex. I have had cats my whole life and currently have six and two that are very large, fat and lazy. I can honestly say the litter box far exceeded my expections in size and quality. As soon as I put it on the floor and put the litter in it all the "curious" cats checked it out and adapted to it right away. I was a little concerned at first about the litter box being 10 inches high in the product description but the front part of the litter box where the cats jump and enter is a little curved down and only measures 7 inches high which makes it very easy for any size grown cat to jump in and do it's thing (with the exception of a very small kitten). You won't be disappointed in this litter box especially if you do have multiple cats as I do but as another previous reviewer stated you better have a big space to put it in. Five stars all the way for me!

I have four cats at home, two of which are really tall and long. I used to have three regular-sized litter boxes, and the cats used them faithfully, but they would always look cramped in there, sometimes even going with their front paws out...
I started looking for a bigger box, but couldn't find anything convincing and affordable at the pet store. On Amazon, the Petmate box had really good reviews, so I thought I would give it a shot. Those $25 were really well spent!
I was surprised at how gigantic it was when it got here... it looks big on the picture, but there is a moment of shock when you see it with your own eyes. I dumped a whole 40lb bag of clay litter in it when I first got it, and it fit nicely in there. I scoop three or four times a day, and haven't changed the litter in two weeks - there is still plenty for the cats to cover, and it doesn't smell at all (thanks to the Premium Precious Cat litter).
This box is really well designed - nice and deep, so the kitties kick out less litter than they used to. Thanks to its enormous size, they can stretch out and dig all over the place, and they look a lot more comfortable now while taking care of business. They hardly ever use the other two boxes I kept - they can even go two at the same time in case of emergency ;)
The pockets on the side are really convenient to keep your scoops, and the whole thing is so heavy once full that there is no chance of ever tipping over (my cats are wrestling champions, and they would sometimes tip over the other boxes on the floor during the night).
It's the perfect box to have if you have several cats, or cats larger than usual (like Maine Coons). Great for diggers too - my cats love to dig to China and back, and the sides are high enough that not much litter gets spilled over. One warning though: you can't be picky about having a HUGE litter box in your usual area :)

Excellent pan for large pets. My plus size cat stopped using the regular boxes because they were too small. She started using the box again immediately after we purchased this box. It's huge! And, it's perfect.

I've been looking for a litter pan like this since two of my kittens turned into 18 & 17 pound behemoths. Thanks to Amazon, they will NEVER miss the pan and when the biggest of the two gets into the litter pan it makes him look like a kitten again. And that is no easy task..wink. This was worth the wait!!

This is the best litter box I ever bought. I have two cats, one large persian and one very old 17 1/2 yr old Siamese who misses the litter box completely..I received my order last week and since then, no mishaps and hardly any litter hits the floor..I use the pockets for the scooper and one for dustpan and brush..I will never buy another litter box again..this is like ********** not *****..
