I have always hated traditional litter boxes, and I have tried the electronic kind, which didn't work at all. This is the easiest/non-smelly litter box system we've ever tried. My two cats transitioned within 3 days and the smell of poo is greatly reduced. (We were using an all-natural litter before that didn't cover the smell very well). I love that I won't have litter to clean up around the boxes since my cats are very messy and always left me piles of litter within a 2 foot circumfrance of the litter box.

I have four cats, two are 12 - old & set in their ways. I have 3 litter boxes and removed one and replaced it with the Breeze. All the cats liked to pee in the Breeze box but would not poop in it. We kept it out for several weeks and they always used the other boxes for poo (one older kitty preferred to use the carpet). We even tried placing poo from the other boxes into the Breeze box to show them what it's for but this seemed to upset and confused them as they tried to cover the poo with no real success.
I really liked the design of the box, the ability to control odor, the lack of dust, etc. Unfortunately, I will have to go back to the old litter. Any attempt to make life easier for me is dashed to bits by my cats - but I love them so.
One other thing... If you have the Breeze box in earshot of your bedroom and you have a scratch happy cat, the noise of the hard, rock-like pellets shifting in the plastic tray can wake you up at night!

This it the best thing since sliced bread. I have three cats and the litter was everywhere. I spent so much time vacuuming. Now I just scoop it and go. The pad lasts about four days and the pebbles last a long time. The cats adjusted to it right away. I just changed it all at once, didn't have to do it gradually. Thanks Tidy Cat, you did a good job.

Can someone tell me the size of the holes or "grating" in the strainer of this pan???? I'd like to use the pan, but with my Feline Pine. The holes have to be big enough that the wet dust can fall thru.
I want to do this only because I don't find it as "earth responsible" to buy and throw away those pads, and I also don't trust what the company is using for the logs. I'd rather use a recycled wood product, and just let the wet dust fall thru the grate, and just empty the bottom pan.
Too bad Feline Pine couldnt figure this out. I paid almost as much for their terribly ugly box. When you take out the top box with the grating on the bottom, there's no place to set it, except the floor, and there is wet dust on the bottom of the little feet of the pan. Using the new Tidy Cat box would be cool, because I would only have to pull out the bottom tray, take it to the trash and dump it, without touching the top tray at all!

"My husband was complaining about the dust that came from our cats' previous litter. He has allergies. He also did not like that the litter we used to use tracked all over the place. This litter is completely opposite of the previous one. It does not track, and does not have dust. Contrary to what other reviewers said, I am not noticing the citrus scent. There is no apparent odor from the litter box before and after the cats use it. I really like this litter. However, there are a couple things that are not so great about this litter. It is challenging to scoop up feces because the pellets are tougher to get underneath. My cats took a week to adjust to this litter system, and the older litter was really gross. The directions on the box that the Breeze system came in were very different from the transition directions online. If I had used the directions online from the beginning, I believe my cats would have adjusted to the litter quicker. My husband and I had to suffer from the stench of the old litter system, while the cats had to suffer from extended confusion. Overall, we are going to keep this litter system."
