I've had the breeze box 3 months now. I would rate it now as 1 star, but amazon won't let me change the star rating. My cat has two litter boxes, an automated one and the breeze. She prefers the automated one (littersweep), mostly. she uses the breeze when she can't get out to the garage to use the automated one. mainly, she pees only in the breeze box and manages to hold her pooh till someone can let her out to the garage. she has done pooh in the breeze but she can't really dig or bury her duty that well in it because there is not that much(pellets) in the litter tray (pre-measured bag) and the pellets are heavy for her to move, therefore, the pooh is not covered. On a plus note, I like it cause I don't have to scoop wet heavy clumps as I have wrist and elbow problems. I must say that it is not odor free. I don't get it how others say they don't have odors, even in multiple cat households. they must have no sense of smell or are dreaming! I even put deodorants and biochemical additives in the urine drawer. it is more noticeable than a box that is daily scooped for pooh and pee. the pellets must adsorb a small amount of urine over the month, and the pan underneath oozes an odor since there are no chemical additives in the pad to help eliminate the odors, it even smells with additives I put in, but not as badly! so my place has this barnyard smell now! Its like the breeze has potential, but not yet all there. the cat doesn't even use it full time! just think if she did how worse it would smell! the litter and pads are pricey too for the small amounts you get. I don't think I would jump into this purchase again: it smells, and the cat won't go pooh in it.

Well, this is good and does what it says. Yes, a few pellets have escaped the confines of the litter box, but on the whole I'm quite pleased. Smell is down, and because clean pellets look so pristine I'm minded to clean the box every time there's something in the pellets. So, overall, it is a good thing!
I have come back to edit this review again. We were having some problems finding the waste outside the box. Both liquid and solid. The pads were not full, so I knew it was not an overflow problem. Well, one day I caught our big cat Max in there, and he's one of those 'walk into the box and keep facing the same way while you do your business' cats. (Our other cat is a 'walk into the box and turn around to face the doorway' cat.) Max is too long for the box! So, he was simply going right over the edge. We solved this by removing the white 'wall' part of the box, which actually slants inward and effectively cuts down on box space. Now Max can walk in far enough that his business end is inside the box (his face is over the back edge), and everything goes in the box where it's supposed to.
I must also say that this is more economical than clumping litter also. I ordered one "box of 4 refill packages" and one "box of four pellet bags" when we got the box, probably back in May, and we are still working our way through those. I'm really quite pleased.

My cats really didn't like it at first. I don't think they liked how the pellets felt when they got in the box. They use it and they will probably get used to the new litter. The urine smell used to be the worst part of the old litter box and this does eliminate that. With two cats, I am using at least two pads a week. I love the fact there isn't all that old litter scattered on the bathroom floor anymore. I scoop the poop each time I go in the bathroom since it's right there on top. Some pellets might stick to it if it hasn't had time to dry out the poop. I really like it but I wish the pads were cheaper or if Costco could stock a bulk pack of them.

Couldn't wait to try this product. I have two very picky male cats. Had no problem making the transition within 3 days. However, both my cats regularly pee standing up and the back splash simply is not high enough. So all that urine mostly goes up and over to outside the box. Maybe Tidy Cats could come up with a hood to retrofit? Product does do what it says - no odor - no tracking litter - but could use some further refinement.

We have three cats - two wanted nothing to do with it no matter how many times we tried. Ended up pooping on the carpet, something they have never done before.
The other cat, who uses this litterbox, gets diahrea on a regular basis. The box is not designed for that type of mess! We ended up scooping most of the granules out.
So if your cat has these type of issues, do not use!
