i never review products, but this is definitely one worth reviewing.
my cat is 6 years old. until recently, we had an omega paw rolling litterbox. i thought it was the best thing ever, but i found myself having to adjust the grate a lot after months of usage.... that skeeved me out. my brother in law got one of these to test and sent it my way. i chucked the omega paw out, put a small regular clumping litter pan next to the new breeze, and set on my way. i figured the size would have deterred my cat.
my cat didn't show an affinity for it at first. i kept both boxes clean, but i did cheat and sprinkle a small amount of litter attractant over the pellets in the breeze. it makes cleanup the first few times a little messier. i also remembered to put the pellets in with the scooping litter i was using before. she still resisted.
i almost gave up after 3 weeks. i know it's longer than they recommend, but i didn't want her to feel overly compelled to use my laundry basket instead of her litterbox. finally i stopped maintaining the smaller litterbox. she would use the breeze for peeing, and the smaller one for pooping. definitely made some strides.
she wouldn't give up using the old box. it got to the point that it was downright discouraging, so on a day i knew i'd be home the whole time, i chucked the clumping litter and replaced it with breeze pellets. she got the hint and did all her business in the breeze. i read on the net about folks having problems with cats pooping out of the box, and i fortunately haven't had that issue with her. i also put in 2 sacks of pellets so she can bury it (and if she does the smell isn't too bad).
it's a great product if you have the time and the patience to transition your cat. it's definitely some work, and if your cat isn't willing to go for new litterbox situations, avoid it. if you're on the hunt for a no-track solution for a small apartment, i can attest to how great it is to only have to scoop poop and not have to deal with the over ammonia'd urine smell. you really have to help your cat transition, that's the key.

I was using Litter maid system but noise bothered me when I was sleeping, so I switched to Breese, my cat poops on my brand new furniture, not even on the floor, now I have to re invest and buy littermaid back, breese should offer money back guarantee and free furniture shampooing.

We have five cats. We switched over following the instructions but delayed removal of the old litter system for a couple of extra days. Everything is working fine. No more litter mess on the floor and cleanup is much lighter & easier. Feces odor is still an issue but where isn't it? Keep the deodorizing spray nearby and you're done.

We gave it a three week try, but our 2 year old mixed breed cat just didn't take to this product. She did try to eat it and kept pulling the litter out of the box and cracking it in half with her teeth... I really wanted to get rid of the clay litter dust, and the tracking of litter all around the box; but I guess we're doomed to have it. Better that than a cat who uses out of the way places in the house to relieve herself! I like the product, it's a good idea, but for us, our cat's habit just could not be changed. I followed the directions on the box, even called their HotLine (very nice people) but nothing seemed to work, so we abandoned the Breeze.

Tracking: I got this litter system because of the great reviews, and primarily because I was sick and tired of the cats tracking litter everywhere. There is still *some* tracking with this system, but it's very very minimal and it doesn't get far from the box because of the size of the pellets.
Smell: With this system I find there is no urine smell at all, but the poops you can definitely smell. This is because there's not enough pellets for the cats to bury them. It needs either more pellets or a version of pellets that's pleasantly scented to try and mask the smell.
Either way it's a lot less scooping because you don't scoop the urine. Also, I have two cats and only change the pad once a week, and it's more than adequate. I'd also like it if they came out with an optional hood for the system because I prefer a covered box.
Overall, the system isn't perfect, but it's the best I've discovered to date.
