I've been a big fan of Farberware products for forty+ years. This pan is my first disappointment. The pan is very good quality and performs very well. The problem lies in the design of the handle; unwieldy at best, but also potentially dangerous to the user. The diameter is way too small. Perhaps comfortable for dainty little hands, but useless in hefting an eight pound skillet. Further, the shape is nearly cylindrical and the finish perfectly smooth. This is now my favorite non-stick pan. It has a larger coooking surface than other 12" pans and a very thick conductive layer on the bottom. No hot spots, no sticking and a comfortable handle. The price is very fair for a pan with these features.
